Lake Forest Glen #114 - Geis

Located in a beautifully landscaped condominium complex with many amenities, this 3 bedroom vacation rental home has an updated kitchen and a large dining area for up to 6. The 1.5 baths have been updated superbly. The cozy mountain living area has plenty of seating, with comfortable couches, and brand new gas fireplace. There are lots of toys for the kids and booster seats. Enjoy the panoramic meadow view from the master bedroom or on the spacious patio where you can relax or BBQ with the provided grill. There is HDTV with cable and Wireless Internet. There are even toys for the kids. Located on Lake Tahoe's North Shore, Lake Forest Glen Condominiums are set in a lovely meadow between the highway and the lake. It is an easy walk to Skylandia Park Beach, Bristlecone Beach and many others on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This development features two pools, sauna, hot tub (for year round use), tennis courts, pickleball and a children's play area. Each unit has two reserved parking spots and there is plenty of extra parking in two over flow parking lots located conveniently on the property. The complex is close to Tahoe City, ski areas including Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley USA, Northstar and Homewood Mountain, shopping and fine dining. The Coast Guard boat launch is just around the corner for our summer guests. Plus there is convenient access to great biking and walking trails, both on and off road. In the winter, drive up the street to the Tahoe Cross Country XC Center.

  We were impressed with all the extra features this condo had that we weren't expecting: pool toys, DVDs, books (for adults and kids), plenty of towels (for pool and bath) and even chocolates on the bedside tables. The pool was plenty warm, clean and had a good amount of tables with umbrellas and lounge chairs. Access to the bike path was awesome. We only had a couple of minor complaints: the portion of lake that is within walking distance was not swimmable (rocky with stagnant water - which I'm sure was made worse by the extremely low current water level) and the second floor gets pretty warm at night (overhead fans in the bedrooms would be a great addition).

  Had the best 5 days in Tahoe this Christmas... I could not have asked for a better location, 114 opens out to a meadow so the kids could literally play right outside the door safely..
  The unit is so well stocked not just with kids toys, cribs but the fridge has all the essentials, bathroom has lots of products and basically every cupboard I opened had handy items( without making the place cluttered)
  Snow or sun, they've got everything.. Can't recommend this place enough, especially for a family !!!!!

  This is our second stay at Lake Forest Glen #114. We feel like we found the perfect home away from home. Perfect for families with small children, but great for those without too! Very nicely furnished and very well appointed. This unit is in the back of the complex with gorgeous views of the meadow...beautiful and so quiet. We will be back again next year for sure.

  Loved the condo! Very comfortable, nicely appointed and homey. The only issue was the hot water ran out before the 2nd shower was over. Probably just need to turn the hot water heater up a little. Also, we were never advised of the $35 booking fee, just appeared on our invoice. Owner should consider converting master bedroom closet area into 2nd bathroom. Relatively easy to do as could tie into plumbing in bathroom on other side of the wall. Would add a lot of value and could raise rates because then it would be viable to 2 families staying there.

  In addition to being a very comfortable place to stay for adults this place was very baby and kid friendly. It has two pack and plays, plenty of books and toys for kids and a child gate at the bottom of the staircase. In addition, there is a meadow behind the condo, so if you come in the snow you can play with your kids for a few hours without having to drive. The owners are also very friendly and will answer any questions you may have.

  We have 3 young children, and this place was turnkey for families with kids! Safety gates, toys, games, books, and great deck opening onto the meadow for them to run around, plus the pool and playground just a 2 minute walk from the unit, and walking distance to the beach.   A very enjoyable stay in July 08! Our home was very child-frendly (books, toys, DVD's) for preschool grandchildren. Lisa at O'neal was very helpful in arranging our family reunion for 36 people - 6 properties in Lake Forest Glen. All of our family guests were very satisfied with their accomodations. Close to Tahoe City, Squaw Valley Olympic center, horeseback riding, etc. made for a memorable vacation!

  This was our first time staying at Lake Forest Glen, but it definitely won't be our last. Our unit overlooked the meadow and was very quiet. The furnishings were very nice and the beds were so comfortable. We had an easy bike ride or walk into town...ideal location. We'll be sure to come back!
